SV3M: Spatial Vision in Man, Monkey and Machine
Presentation
The SV3M team brings together teacher-researchers, researchers, and clinicians with complementary expertise, all aiming to better understand the neural and cognitive mechanisms underlying spatial perception. Together, they have developed an innovative approach that is resolutely multi-model (healthy humans, patients, monkeys, and machines) and transdisciplinary (behavior, eye tracking, electroencephalography, cortical stimulation, functional imaging in human and non-human primates, and modeling). The team’s current project explores spatial cognition in natural conditions and involving one or more sensory modalities (visual, vestibular, and auditory). Their work spans both fundamental and translational research, with applications in clinical and technological fields.
