DYNAMO – Neural Dynamics of Memory and Object Processing.

Head: Leila Reddy

The DYNAMO team takes a multi-scale approach to comprehensively address the neural underpinnings of object representations, learning, and memory, and explore what happens when the neuronal code goes awry (e.g., during epilepsy). We approach these themes with an impressive array of techniques, that include in vitro recordings in human brain slices, single neuron, local field potential (LFP), and intracranial EEG (iEEG) recordings in the human brain, intracranial brain stimulation in awake patients, fMRI, behavioral learning in healthy subjects and in pathological aging (e.g., Alzheimer’s disease), computational modeling, and advanced machine-learning methodology, including AI.
